Toriano recently spent 3 weeks in Costa Rica, doing field research on ferial dogs in the streets of San Jose and San Ramon and met one of the most inspirational dog activists ever, Helen Wirt.
Helene WIRT, was born in Austria (Vienna), but has been living in Costa Rica in the area of San Ramón de Alajuela for the past 18 years.
Since 1997, she has dedicated her time, energy and love to providing homes to abandoned and poorly treated dogs. She supplies these dogs with medical care, spaying and neutering services, safe shelter; as well as, the love and affection they need. She has set up a 5 acre dog farm that houses over 93 dogs and she also lives on location with her canine friends. www.meetyourdog.com
Mr. Sanzone has partnered with Ms. Wirt to help place these doggies in homes across the world and to also bring Wolfkeepers-Dog Lovers to San Ramon to assist in the care and training of these abandoned dogs.
We are currently looking for people that would be interested in traveling to Costa Rica for 7-14 days to help Helen out with the care of her shelter dogs.

Toriano Sanzone has joined forces with a non-profit called It’s Our Little Secret in order to build a State of the Art Dog Training Facility in 2012 that will allow at risk children to learn and dog training techniques. In addition, these young adults will have the opportunity to become junior dog trainers and potential one day start a professional career in the pet industry.

Wolfkeeper Academy Comes to IOLS!
Chicago, Illinois—January 2, 2010 – Renowned Dog Trainer, Toriano Sanzone with The Sanzone School of Dog Training and IOLS partnered together to train at risk youth to divert negative energy to become professional dog trainers in a very extensive 4 month training program. At which time; participants will have the opportunity to work at The Sanzone School of Dog Training.

It's Our Little Secret (IOLS) is a non-profit organization comprising of volunteers dedicated to providing a voice to sexually, physically, and emotionally abused children and teens through advocacy, mentoring, and creative expression. It is IOLS' mission to promote a healthy recovery for the abused children & youth, and to stop the destructive future behavioral patterns of the abused towards their own and other children.
This planned 13,000 square-foot creative space will provide a Music Room, Media Arts Lab, Performing Arts Space, Painting Studio, Mixed Media Studio, Ceramics Studio, and the We Suffer No More Gallery. Expressive programs are held on a monthly basis for caretakers, foster care parents and abused children and youth, which allow participants to express, communicate and heal the soul through art and music mediums. Classes provided are called "Creative Expression Sessions" in art, music, ceramics, photography, media arts, literature, dance, “Greening for Tomorrow” and the Wolfkeeper Academy.
